1. Stansbury Island

At the top of my list for cute places in Utah are the pink waters at Stansbury Island. Located a 50 min. drive North of Tooele, Utah you’ll find a salt-covered island.  At first, the views may not seem very extravagant, but once you reach the Great Salt Lake, you’ll think otherwise.

The best times to visit are between the Summer and Fall months so you can enjoy the pink water at its maximum beauty. Stansbury Island is still considered a hidden gem to other areas around the Great Salt Lake which makes this a great spot to get amazing photos without having to worry about anyone else nearby.

Perfect photo times would be before sunrise or sunset. If time is not an issue, you can make a whole day out of it. Pack up a cooler full of refreshing drinks and food for a cute afternoon picnic. This will give you the energy you need to keep yourself going until the sun sets.

Keep in mind the ground is very rocky and uneven, make sure you’re traveling in a larger vehicle that has four-wheel drive so your undercarriage doesn’t get damaged. 

2. Taste

Taste offers an Afternoon Tea service, chocolate tastings, and fondue nights. If you’re looking for a cute place in Utah to go on a brunch date with your besties or a romantic date night with your significant other this is the café for you.

Reservations are required ahead of time, but you can reserve through their website. If you’re short on time and just stopping in for a short visit they also offer a café menu that includes sandwiches, decadent desserts, and an assortment of drinks.

The thing that sets Taste apart from other cafés is that they have their own chocolate factory. In-store and online you can purchase Taste’s original artisan chocolate bars alongside diverse brands of chocolate bars that have been sourced from around the world.

There are over 50 flavors to choose from and each bar comes in a unique packaging with a beautifully designed wrapper. If you’re interested in sampling a few flavors of Taste’s chocolate before you buy, you may consider reserving their chocolate tastings.

3. Young Living Lavender Farm

Lavender fields have become a popular photo place amongst influencers on social media. If you too are wanting that picture-perfect photo and are planning a trip to Utah make sure you add Young Living Lavender Farm to your must visit places.

This is a wonderful location because the lavender field is planted right in front of a mountain range which will give your photos an amazing backdrop. The best time to visit is around late June, early July so you can ensure that the lavender will be fully bloomed.

But keep in mind that also around this time Young Living Lavender Farm will hold its annual Lavender Days festival. Make sure you check to see what day they schedule it for because even though it’ll be fun, it’ll also be very crowded if you choose to go on the same day.

4. Koi D Bar Rolled Ice Cream and Boba Tea

Utah during the Summer months can get very hot. Cool yourself down with a rolled ice cream treat or a refreshing boba tea from Koi D Bar.

They have some very cute,  premade ice cream bowls. For example, their ‘Blushberry’ is a mixed berry ice cream topped with gummy bears, and their ‘Paradise’ includes tropical flavors topped with whipped cream, coconut shavings, and mochi.

If you’re interested in making your own creation they offer numerous fresh fruits, classic candies, and tons of toppings to add to your dream dessert.

Koi D Bar’s boba flavors are just as extensive. They serve traditional boba tea with tapioca pearls or if you’re interested in trying something new they have 15 other flavor options.

My favorite drink of theirs is the signature galaxy drink. Each drink comes with two different flavors and you can add boba or rainbow jelly if you like. Both the ice cream and the boba tea from Koi D Bar are picture-worthy, you’ll want to share them on your socials.

5. Evermore Park

Evermore Park is an immersive world that seems like it could only exist in fairytales. But lucky for us, the magic is real!

If you like folklore and fantasy you’ll definitely want to add this theme park to your list of cute places in Utah to visit. They have different events for every season and with them come new adventures.

One thing I find super cool is that you can interact with the characters throughout the village and partake in quests. They also have a cafe and a restaurant onsite which both sell European-inspired dishes.

If you’re like me and into fantasy cosplay, you’ll feel right at home at Evermore Park.

6. Penguin Brothers

Penguin Brothers sell gourmet ice cream sandwiches. Choose your favorite flavor of ice cream and two homemade cookies to pair with it. You can even mix cookie flavors 🙂

If you’re eating on the go, order your favorite flavor combination as a pizookie for less mess. It’s a warm, half-baked cookie that’s served in a bowl and topped with a scoop of ice cream.

They offer different flavors of ice cream that rotate regularly along with some seasonal flavors. Gluten friendly options are also available.

Penguin Brothers have the cutest shop with pink and blue accents. Painted on one of the walls is a colorful mural with tons of adorable penguins. It makes for a great photo spot to snap a picture with your ice cream.

7. Thanksgiving Point

Thanksgiving Point is a beautiful place to visit if you love flowers and butterflies.

At their 50-acre Ashton Gardens, you can explore 15 themed gardens that have many lovely floras. While you’re strolling, keep an eye out for their stunning manmade waterfalls, they’re the largest in the whole Western Hemisphere!

If you have time, check out an experience like no other at the butterfly biosphere. You’ll literally be surrounded by thousands of butterflies from all over the world making Thanksgiving Point truly magical.

8. Ice Castles

If you’re planning to visit Utah during the winter months you’ll not want to miss this fun frozen attraction!

All of the structures are made out of real icicles that have been perfectly placed by professional ice artists. Inside you’ll find a maze, a LED-lit slide, and even tunnels you can crawl through.

Feel like an ice princess in this cute winter wonderland. But plan your outfit accordingly since it will be very chilly.

This attraction is open depending on the weather. Some days may be cancelled due to inclement weather or if it isn’t cold enough for the structures.

9. Fillings and Emulsions

Fillings and Emulsions sell the most beautiful French pastries. Chef Diaz combines his Latin flavors with French techniques to bring you desserts that taste as decadent as they look.

The cases are filled daily with macarons, petit cakes, tarts, and more. There’s so much detail that goes into each pastry. They all look like little pieces of art.
