7 Cute Places in Indianapolis

Looking for cute places in Indianapolis? I got you covered! Below are 7 of my favorite cute places in Indianapolis.

1. Good Morning Mama’s Cafe

This bright-colored cafe is the perfect place to start your day! Enjoy a delicious brunch at this cute 1950’s style diner.

Their food will give you the energy you need to explore the rest of the city. They’re open Wednesday – Sunday from 8 am – 2 pm and it’s first come first serve.

They have many options to choose from but if you want to try something a bit different, I recommend their ‘Java French Toast’ which is coffee flavored and topped with toasted pecans and cinnamon butter, or their ‘Stuffed Burrito Sonoma’ which includes all the fixings.

No matter what you decide to eat, the plates are very filling and you’ll not have to worry about leaving hungry.

2. Newfields

Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and art at Newfields.

Located on the property you’ll find the Indianapolis Museum of Art and gift shop, a cafe, Elder Greenhouse, and The Garden which includes multiple cute areas to explore.

Filled with many fun things to do and see you’ll want to block off the whole afternoon so you have enough time to enjoy all 100 acres.

Bringing food and non-alcoholic beverages is welcome so this would be the perfect place to enjoy a cute picnic as you take in the wonderful views.

Before you go, make sure you check out their website because they’re always adding new events depending on the season.

3. The Cake Bake Shop

Delight in a wonderful afternoon tea experience at the most magical restaurant in Indianapolis!

Tea is served Monday – Friday from 10 am – 4 pm and reservations are required. You’ll be served freshly baked scones, finger sandwiches, and an assortment of cute mini desserts.

In addition to afternoon tea, they also serve a savory menu, a fancy drink menu, and don’t forget about their wide selection of desserts! Their most exquisite dessert is called ‘Marie Antoinette’s,’ a large French macaron filled with vanilla pastry cream, fruit, and jam.

Everything about this shop is so luxurious that you’ll want to capture your whole experience on camera to share with your friends on your socials.

4. Be the Boutique

If you’re someone who likes to shop local when you travel to a new city, Be the Boutique is the perfect place for you!

Started by a mother and daughter back in 2008, this adorable store carries fashion items, home decor, and unique gifts. The outside is very inviting with its bright white exterior and darling pink door.

Whether you leave with something in hand or just stopped by to window shop, the lovely owner Barbie will be excited you visited.

5. SoChatti Chocolate Tasting Room

Have you ever tasted real pure chocolate? At SoChatti they make their chocolate solely from cacao beans from countries like Peru, Honduras, and Columbia to name a few. With the beans, they create chocolate that is dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and vegan.

SoChatti offers so many tasting options. For instance, if you’re short on time you can do a walk-in chocolate tasting for up to 3 people. Maybe you’re wanting a more hands-on experience? Call to reserve their chocolate making class where you can create your own drop candies and enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the facility where the chocolate is produced.

If you liked a particular flavor you tasted, make sure you purchase a pouch or two…or three to enjoy at home. The best part about SoChatti is you won’t have to feel guilty about indulging since it’s all-natural and healthy for you!

6. Twisted Room Escapes

When you hear escape room you’re probably wondering how’s this a cute place? Well, unlike most escape rooms, Twisted Room Escapes has two girly-themed rooms.

The first one is called ‘Sweet Shoppe’ and has a low difficulty level. The second is called ‘Alice’s White Rabbit Rescue’ which has a moderate difficulty level.

In ‘Sweet Shoppe’ your goal is to solve all of Mrs. C’s puzzles and get hired to work at her candy store. For ‘Alice’s White Rabbit Rescue’ you’ll have to save the day before teatime.

If you and your girlfriends like puzzle games and solving mysteries this will be worth checking out for your next girl’s trip!

7. Teejay’s Sweet Tooth

When you visit Teejay’s Sweet Tooth you’ll want to make sure your sweet tooth is ready!

This cute ice cream place in Indianapolis offers fun and unique items in addition to your traditional options. However, with items like a donut ice cream sandwich, a fruity pebble treat, or a cotton candy burrito you won’t want to just come here for a single scoop of ice cream.
