1. Chakra Cafe

Start your day with a healthy meal from the Chakra Cafe. This hidden gem has a cute, rustic charm and is very popular amongst the locals.

They’re open 7 days a week and serve breakfast options, salads, and sandwiches all day long. Their menu consists of many protein-packed dishes like the Nirvana Salad which includes chicken and walnuts.

They also offer a few Vegan options. After you finish eating, you’ll have the energy you need to explore the city.

The Chakra Cafe is a great place to go if you’re looking for a chill atmosphere to get some work done on your laptop or catch up with a friend.

2. Queens Botanical Garden

There are plenty of different areas to explore in Queens Botanical Garden. What started off as just a 5-acre exhibit back in 1939 has turned into a 39-acre garden today.

At the main entrance of the garden you can even view two of the original blue Atlas cedar trees. On the property, there is a rose garden, bee garden, and an arboretum just to name a few.

Photos are allowed in the gardens if they’re for your personal use. However, if you’re wanting to take photos for commercial use or a photoshoot you’ll need to contact the events department first.

Queens Botanical Garden is such a beautiful place to visit, but the entry is not free. Before you go, make sure to check out their website for hours, admission, and everything you need to know.

3. Taiyaki NYC

Taiyaki NYC is the cutest ice cream place in all of Queens. This Japanese-owned shop sells soft-serve ice cream that comes in an adorable fish-shaped waffle cone.

You can order their signature taiyaki creations or build your own out of the many soft serve flavors and toppings they offer. Like the traditional Japanese taiyaki that is filled with red bean paste or custard, you get to choose which flavor you want your cone to be filled with.

Their most popular creation is the unicorn taiyaki which is pictured above. I recommend ordering this if you love pastel colors and because it’s absolutely adorable!

If you’re lucky, you may even visit during a time when they’re having a character collaboration. Some past collaborations have included Rilakuma, Disney, and Care Bears.

4. Carla

If you’re looking for a cute place for Sunday brunch, or a quick lunch, Carla’s is both delicious and aesthetic.

Enjoy your hibiscus margarita on Carla’s pink outdoor patio, or meet up with the gals after work for a drink and apps at their cozy indoor bar.

Carla’s has a variety of dishes you’ll come to love. From kickin’ Birria Ramen to taco sliders bursting with flavor, there’s truly something for everyone.

I personally love the cute vibe, especially the outdoor patio in the springtime. If you plan on visiting, just know Carla’s is busiest during Sunday brunch time.

5. Mochinut

Have you ever heard of a mochi donut? It’s a type of donut that started in Hawaii and it’s based on the American doughnut but with a Japanese twist.

These donuts are made with rice flour instead of yeast so they have a more chewy consistency. The cute, unique design of mochi donuts is created by 8 little donut balls connected to form a circle.

At Mochinut they have 25 different flavors, however, the flavors offered daily vary by location. They offer American flavors like Red Velvet and Cookies and Cream as well as Asian flavors like Matcha and Yuzu.

Think of Yuzu as a mix between a lemon and a mandarin, very citrusy. Mochinut also sells assorted flavors of bubble tea with tapioca pearls that pair nicely with their donuts.

6. Prince Tea House

Prince Tea House is a cute place to visit in Queens if you’re looking for upscale dining or a beautiful afternoon tea service.

Their menu is perfectly curated to bring you a nice mix of French and Asian flavors. They also offer a wide variety of teas to choose from and each one is directly imported from France.

The desserts at Prince Tea House are so pretty. The best part is they’re made in-house daily so they’re always served fresh.

Whether you’re a tea connoisseur or just looking for a cute place to take photos for the gram Prince Tea House has you covered.

7. Mojitos Restaurant Bar

Mojitos is a Latin fusion restaurant that serves up the best dishes in Latin culture and offers a wide range of Mojito flavors.

The inside interior has a nice ambiance about it. It’s decorated with flowers, lights, and there’s even a designated photo wall.

You can take photos with your girlfriends or your drink and post them on your social to show your love for Mojitos. What makes this restaurant bar so cute is the way they accent their plates and drinks with purple orchid flowers.

A cool thing about Mojitos is that they offer heated outdoor cabin seating. Enjoy being in your own exclusive cabin, outside on the patio, even when it’s cold outside.

8. T-Swirl Crepe

If you love decadent crepes and Japanese culture, T-Swirl Crepe is a place you won’t wanna pass up!

Each classic Japanese crepe has its own western twist, all made with fresh ingredients and gluten-free rice flour. Each crepe is wrapped in a cone shape, making it easy to eat even if you’re on the move.

T-Swirl Crepe has a variety of sweet and savory flavors to choose from. My personal favorites are the Wild Berries for dessert and the Chicken Teriyaki for a savory snack.

While the crepes are a bit on the pricey side, they’re definitely worth splurging on!

9. M Tea

If your favorite color is pink and you love bubble tea, M Tea is the perfect place for you!

M Tea is a bubble tea shop that also sells very cute desserts. One cute cake, in particular, is their French dessert that has a vanilla mousse with strawberry jelly in the middle. The cake is topped with whipped cream and an adorable red heart.

The interior is all pink with a unique hot air balloon theme. They have two floors which means tons of places to take cute photos. Some popular photo spots are on the hot air balloon couch, with the pink old-fashioned phone, or on the swings.

While looking into this location, I did find some recent reviews mentioning that the interior of this place is getting a little dirty. It’s pink and white so I can imagine how hard it is to keep spotless with so many people coming and going.

However, if you plan on visiting, make sure you check out the reviews. Overall, I would consider M Tea to be an Instagrammer’s paradise which is why it still deserves a spot on my list of cute places in Queens.

I hope you enjoyed my list of 9 cute places in Queens. Let me know in the comments if there are any cute places I missed that you think belong on this list!
